ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION

Interfaze Educational Productions, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, tax-exempt organization incorporated in 1996 with the expressed mission to support film as art, to encourage films that re-examine our past to better inform social progress in our future, and stimulate thought provoking discussion around issues of major social concern in today’s society.

Interfaze is not a distribution company, but its films reach a wide general audience both in the U.S. and internationally. To date Interfaze has produced several award winning documentaries, including the Academy Award nominated and Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury Prize winning Daughter From Danang, the Mill Valley Film Festival’s Audience Award winner Archeology of Memory: Villa Grimaldi, and the Academy Award winning Barber of Birmingham.

Interfaze is currently in production of two documentaries: Growing Up With Ghosts, with directors Aleixo Gonçalves and Marilyn Mulford, and Skin of Glass, a co-production with ZD Films and director Denise Zmekhol.

Interfaze has acted as a fiscal sponsor for several documentary videos. A partial list includes: Cruz Reynoso: A Man for All Seasons, directed by Abby Ginzberg and funded by CCH, aired on National PBS in 2009, Children of The Amazon, directed by Denise Zemkhol and funded by ITVS, LPB, & the Tides Foundation, aired on National PBS in 2009, Awakening From Sorrow: Buenos Aires 1997, directed by John Knoop and Karina Epperlein, Phoenix Dance, directed by Karina Epperlein and short listed for an Academy Award in the short documentary category. Interfaze is currently sponsoring The Surrender of Waymond Hall with Jane Greenburg as producer and director.
